Thailand visa requirements

Japanese citizens can visit Thailand for up to 30 days without a visa.  If you want to take up paid or unpaid work in Thailand you'll need to obtain and immigrant visa from the Royal Thai Embassy and a work permit from the Ministry of Labour.

If you intend to visit Thailand, on holiday, a business trip, to study, work, volunteer or as an emigrant you should get up to date and accurate information from the official website of The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom Of Thailand or Thailand Immigration Bureau
