location of the hostel for food, shops beach was great! the dorm we was in was not so great we were in one with people who had been there a long time and they invited guys back even though it was female only and also made a few of the guests ( who we spoke to) feel left out!

New night front desk manager is awesome, she couldn't do enough for us. The place is so much cleaner too since she's been there.

You can't beat the location. It's right on the beach and if you get a room with a view it's awesome. The staff however is horrible. They advertise free breakfast and there is none. The rooms were overfilled, and I was put in a room with 16 others with my bed in the kitchen of a suite! The manager is extremely argumentative and was never at the desk to answer questions. The people in my room were fun but very loud and routey. Up all hours of the night partying. The room never got cleaned so sand, and dirt built up. We had to request someone come clean. Bathroom ceiling was falling down over the shower and moldy. Also, only stairs so a pain if you have heavy luggage. I would splurge and stay at a diff property STA offers. There are good ones, just not this one.
