England visa requirements

Non EU nationals wishing to live and work in the UK must apply for a work permit or UK Working Holiday/Youth Mobility Visa.

Work permits must be applied for by the employer and are usually only granted for specific jobs requiring a high level of skill or experience.

Nationals of certain countries can visit the UK for up to three months without a visa, these are listed at the website of the Home Office UK Border Agency.
